For example, you could face an officer in Ultimate mode and spend maybe 5 minutes trying to take them down with a 5th/6th weapon. With a fully upgraded 4th weapon, despite the shortfall in base attack power you could probably finish the same guy off within 10 seconds in comparison. This can make a big difference especially when you do long consecutive battles in Ambition mode at higher levels.
And if you know, the max damage upgrade from the fusion depends on the base damage of a weapon or its allways the same cap?
Meaning, if i begin upgrading a 50 damage halberd and a 53 damage one, will they have the same max attack while fusing them? or will one end with 60 and the other with 63 max damage for example?
Say you got a 4th Weapon Halberd with 55 Attack Stat as a Base Weapon and you want to increase the attack power.
When you do Weapon Fusion it will require another weapon to be "sacrificed" in the process. Basically the Base Weapon (your 55 Attack Halberd) will leech the stats/power from the sacrificed weapon.
Now this doesn't have to be a Halberd, it can be any type of weapon and it doesn't have to be a good one either. I highly recommend choosing any One Star weapon or weapons that you plan to get rid off anyway (duplicates).
So let's say we got a One Star Sword with 14 Attack Power to sacrifice and you want to increase the Halberd's attack strength. When you perform Weapon Fusion it will increase it by 1 each time - this will always be the case no matter how good your sacrificed weapon is (hence always choose the low rank weapons that you plan to discard).
So at the end of the process you will have a 56 Attack Power Halberd and you can repeat this process until you reach the maximum cap (just tested that 63 Attack Stat is the max you can have on a 4th Star Halberd).
