Another thing I am hoping also is Sengoku Barasa too. I enjoy the heck out of that game on ps3 and so disappointing that they (bad capcom, bad bad bad capcom) decided not to release any more Sengoku Barasa to the international anymore. Samurai Heroes is the first game that finally released to the international market and it is really fun game for anime adaption. One of the reason why they are not selling to the international is that Sony have a strict reign over how the disc is selling to oversea. Any disc selling oversea like to NA is require to have english voice in it. It cannot be only Japanese word and voice acting in it. This only applies to disc version. KT got around that rule by selling Warriors Orochi 3 (only have Japanese voice) through PSN only because PSN don't have that rule.
And that dub rule isn't true at all anymore. There are tons of disc games that are Japanese voice only nowadays. KOEI put WO3 on PSN to save money.
SB4 is not selling well in Japan anymore since they closed off the international market. SB3 sold about 300K copies included international market, that is more than SB2 135K sold. SB4 sold way less than 177K. This is due to the fact that they closed to international market and there is not even any ads for it. I never heard of SB:SH until I google for similar game as DW and discover this gem.
They are willing to do another game but unwilling to do with SB series which it just sad because it a huge competition for DW/SW/WO
Since you have the Wii U, get Hyrule Warriors. It Legend of Zelda in DW engine. It is really fun game. I co op with my friend a lot on that game. I believe it based on DW6; they have fort capture, skill tree, weapons with slots. One thing they don't have is the duel in DW6. And they have many different weapon that is unique to each character. Link have 6 unique weapons! Zelda have 3, some have one and some have two. Adventure mode is really fun also.
Also I know it's unlikely but I would love if they put DW Gundam reborn on PC. I have 1-3 on 360 but reborn is only on ps3 :(
They are similar gameplay. Just the story is different is what I know. Dynasty is based on Romance of the Three Kingdoms (Ming Dynasty in China) while Samurai is based on Sengoku Era (1460 AD - 1570 in Japan)
There's also no Rage Attack in SW2, but how Musuo is handled is a bit different as well as how EX attacks are triggered. Think you can roll in SW2 onwards as well and the storylines follow per person rather than per kindgom.
The one thing that is hugely different is some attributes that are good (ice is way better than it is on freaking dw8xl) the way musou works and the items in which you can carry since SW3.
Also SW4 has character switching in a different way from WO3U since you have 2 guys that can be in different areas of the map and you can switch between them at will.
