Character tiers?

Who would the "top tier" weapons/characters be? I know in 7 Empires Zhou Tai's moveset was highly useful with his unblockable musou.

Throwing Knives + Wang Yuanji. With the right weapon attributes it will KO the toughest baddies in Ultimate within seconds before they can get anywhere near you. Plus the fast attacks charges the Musou & Rage bar crazily quick with this weapon. My grinding weapon of choice.

Deng Ai on horse is god tier. Put him on Red hare, give him a good elemenetal weapon set up and he can clear Ultimate unscathe

As for non horse killing efficiency. Top tier is Zhao Yun with musou spamming weapon build, max these attributes on both his weapons:
Flurry-Frenzy-Roar-Aggression(Musou)-Velocity-Jubilation

Then, put the two passive skills that increase musou and rage musou rate. The other two slots can be anything you like.


Second on the list is Guan Yu. Same musou spammer build as Zhao, except switch out Flurry with the one attribute where your attacks are increased if you have two weapons with same affinity

Equip him with two weapons of same affinity
Same passive skill set up as Zhao Yun. Try to focus on upping his damage

EX1 buff > Ex2 to build musou
Spam 2nd ground musou when you can
The reason he's only second best is due to his inferior Rage musou when compared to Zhao Yun. He also build meter slower


Other good musou spammers are: Yue Ying, Zuo Ci, Zhang Jiao, Guan Ping

Good elemental attackers are: Ding Feng, Guan yinping

Raw Damage (if no builds are allowed): Lu Bu (R1 switch > Spam normal attack). Or purposely whiff R1 musou (it will become a buff instead of a grab), then do R1 musou again and hit this time. His R1 musou give him massive attack buff if it missed.

In terms of meter building, no one does it as well as Xu Shu. Unfortunately, his musou and rage attacks are not that good. If they are as good as Zhao Yun, he would've been god tier. For now, he's a very safe character to play as since you'll almost always have at least one musou bar filled, but he kill slower compared to the top dogs

KOs: Guan Yu
Speed run: Zhou Tai with halberd as secondary weapon
Ring Outs: Xiahou Dun
Arena: Lu Bu

My personal favorite is Zhang Liao. That third strong attack is just too good.
