character creation?

on the fence about this, and its been awhile since I played A DW but is there a character creation/conquest mode in this? or is that only in the empires DW games?

There's no character creation here, that'll probably be in Empires. What do you mean with conquest mode? As in the one from DW7?

No character creation; but there is an enhanced conquest mode called Ambition Mode where you build your own kingdom and wage war across China.

DW Empires is what you're looking for.

DW 5 Xtreme Legend had Dynasty mode,
you create a char then join an officer from a faction and develop yourself from foot solider to a higher rank. you can always betray and go to another guy mid battle too.

DW 3 EL had charecter creation.

The older DW games had character creation, but they haven't really been in these games for a couple of iterations now.

So no Character Creation on this? Even Samurai Warriors 4 has character creation and it was released not that long ago. Obviously DW is cheap when compared to SW anymore.. they release like 2+ DW games per SW game anymore, despite SW seems to sell insanely well in Japan.

Ever since DW5 you have not been able to create a character unless you get empires. which is bullcrap. thats why 4 is still my favorite since i can create my character in the normal game( i don't like the empire games as much)

Then again they have been adding alot of characters and try to keep them unique, since with most DW games with CAWs there was alot of clones as well. Still Empires is always more of a open RP mode so CAWs were always good with those, that and Samurai Warriors never had that many characters so CAWs always helps increase more.

Still never know since think DW* did well on here, which course may increase odds of Empires also making it whenever it comes out.
