DW 6 movesets/weapons.

First "Dynasty" game i played was the 6th one (PS3). Few years later played WO 2 on psp and then WO 3 when it was released, on the console.

And what a let down it was when in WO 2 (and later WO 3) instead of:
- gloves (great moveset and weapon), IMO which is perfectly fit with his personality, Sima Yi had fan, Xtremely Hyper XXL boring fan. Sucks both in WO 2 and 3 for me.
- chained ball (which is too fit him very well in my opinion), Dian Wei had axe, which moveset... Well, in WO 3 it is much better... But i still missing this weapon, even with somewhat generic/"obvious" moveset it was in DW 6.
- awesome "dual halber cross"/"mumbo umbo" thing (or whatever it is called), Lu Bu had halberd. In WO 2 i wasnt impressed of him. In WO 3 it was better, but it wasnt enough for me to forget DW 6 weapon and his moveset like it never existed. To be honest since WO 2 Lu Bu doesnt feel so "lu-buish" for me anymore. Maybe this game will change that, will see...

So, does any of this unique weapons return in DW 8:XL? Maybe new characters wield some of them? I know that these weapon choices in DW 6 were experimental and its not their normal ones, but i still hoping they will return someday.

P.S. I really hope Zhurong has boomerang instead of horrible throwing knives like was in WO 3.

- the gloves is used by Sima Yi's wife now, he got another new unique weapon.

- the dual halberd in DW6 also returned, used by Lu Lingqi, Lu Bu's daughter

There's around 10 DLC weapons with unique movesets to hold your fancy if you find 77 unique movesets dull or boring.

Isn't the knives for Zhu Rong in WO3 the same as Wang Yuanji's? Also it kind of looks like Zhu Ran's moveset is similar to Sun Shang Xiang's bow in DW6.

Zhu Rong did got sma throwing knives like Wang Yuanji in WO3 and DW7. But in DW8, she got her boomerang back.

Thx for info and answers MemPhiZ ZX and RX-0Banshee. Only Dian Wei remained, but with such tendency its a matter of time until such weapon user appear.
