The actual events are not in DW8: Zhang Fei's famous yell on Changban bridge is gone (DW7 did it perfectly), Zhao Yun no longer rescues Liu Shan, and Xiahou Dun's infamous "eat my eyeball" sucks compared to the way it's been done in the past. Hell, Xiahou Yuan gets hit by a few measely arrows compared to historically, he was nearly cut in half by Huang Zhong's sword.
The Zhang Fei and Zhao Yun ones are just things you do, no cutscene
