1. Do your musou to counter their musou (you're invincible throughout the attack), so their musou will miss you completely if you time it right.
2. jump out of the way! If you are using a characters with the double-jump ability, even better! If you're being juggled and can't move your character, either do your musou (which will be the air musou) or PRAY that you don't get hit by theirs.
3. Block. IF you are going to block, make sure your back is NOT exposed at any time or you WILL get hit (even if you block--unless you have the weapon attribute that allows you to block in all directions).
Counter with your own musou is the "safe" way.
Dodging is a risky proposition, because failure means you eat part or all of the enemy's musou. In some cases, that means a KO from full health. (Grumble overpowered one hit kill air musou grumble) Different musous have different ranges and areas, and sometimes you simply cannot dodge even if you know exactly what is coming.
This means you generally need to sit on at least one block of musou at all times, particularly on Hard or higher as enemy officers start using air musou at that point.
Another alternative is to save mid-battle, so you don't have to replay so much if/when you die. (Also useful for the occasional glitch that renders a level impossible to finish, like getting pushed through a closed gate with the officer that opens it on the other side.)
Storm rush
Simply block it ( depend with enemy musou )
Run as far as possible
Rage mode
Careful with this one, as a fair number of musou attacks are unblockable.
2. Dodge. Jump the hell out of there/run! This is pretty effective for me, but you need to be quick.
3. Musou. You won't do anything to them but you'll avoid damage since your invincible.
