IE, the icon that shows a horizontal arrow is prompting you to mount something, which means LTrigger or A for mounts and vehicles, or just A for ladders, assuming default controller setup.
Yes, you can map the keys how you want them, just not have A be jump and confirm.
was searching the forums for 360 button icons...i guess it doesn't have any love for pc 360 controller :(
and yea A=B and B=A is sooooo annoying it takes me around 5 mins just to get to gameplay because of the confirm button weirdness
LB is block, RB is weapon switch, Lt is horse, RT is change map
there you go, now you can kill some chinese.
I was actually relieved to find this layout... this is how it works on most Japanese Playstation games. "O" button for "ok", "X" button for "cancel" or "back".... and the only reason I got my PS3 was so I could import the Japanese copies of SSM6 and 7 (DW7 and 8), Musou Orochi Z and 2 (3) and Sengoku Musou 3 and 4 (Samuari Warriors).
I don't like the button prompts or how when you look in the mapping it lists things like "J1 Axis4+", but I've got used to it already. The game is good fun.
My wishlist has reduced now to:
- Add the DW8 achievements to the set... so people can unlock -something- in the first 100 hours of play.
- Add SteamCloud support
- Japanese voice pack
