LOL! It'll be called "Ninja Dog" and you can only play as a maxed out Orochi X who'll be a secret character.
this game it's easy, really easy it's the best casual game.
you die and lose all the things you don't save???? uoooooooooooo amazing it's the only game in the world what have that feature!!!!!!!!
checkpoint??????? really??? want a checkpoint in a game where in 5 minutes can finish the map????
please unnistall all your games ---->get your PC and trow it away ----> now only sit on your bed and wait until you die -----> thx for do this the world it's better whitout you.
As for Ambition Mode, you can save after each battle, which is still nice. Being able to save during the battle for that mode would just be really cheap.
They even let you save mid-battle, something that isnt very common for console games at all.
Not sure what your going on about, but Dynasty Warriors has ALWAYS been like that.. so i assume your new to the series.
It has to be autosaves, modern gamers can't muster the mental processes required for manual saving.
Learn to manage your health/musou bars better and cover your back more wisely. More importantly, use the save feature from the menu if you care so greatly about your progress to come on the forums whining about losing it.
This isn't a design flaw, it's a good design choice. Too many developers these days are catering their games towards a child's ease of use. Hitman: Absolution is a great example of this.
Games are supposed to be designed with a challenge/reward balance, with frequent saves that reduces the challenge and should therefore reduce the reward to maintain a balance. This has nothing to do with hardcore vs. casual or any of the other petty namecalling that is already occuring by page 2 of this thread.
In resoponse to "how will it degrade?" Adding frequent autosaves will distort the reward balance system in place and water down the challenge. How will it imporve the game, not one or two player's opinions, if an autosave feature is added durring battles? (not to mention this requires more system resources while the game is active) If it is only saving at cutscenes then it may cause problems with players that wish to skip cutscenes. The developers have already put a system in place that anyone can use without breaking the flow of the game.
Distorting the challenge/reward balance will alienate the long term fans of the DW franchise that have purchased version after version supporting the franchise and samuri warriors and orochi.
The demand (because the OP was not kind enough to word it as a request) is not thought out and a poor choice both technically and design wise. It is to bad the OP can't cut it when there are now 6 dificulty settings that vary from a toddler can play this blindfolded to don't hit me with that marshmallow, I will die. Instead he puts in this STUPID demand.
