Are Ambition maps limited by what is unlocked?

Been playing Ambition quite a bit, but it seems like it's the same 4 maps over and over, was wondering if the maps in Ambition are limited to those you have unlocked in storyline?

I'm pretty sure more are unlocked when you get to those battles in story mode. I have way more than just 4 maps in Ambition mode.

Unless by 4 maps you meant 4 mission types?

I meant maps. For Great Battles it was always the same 2 maps, Skirmish was the same 2 maps, Fame shared a map with GB and another map, and Duel was always the same map.

Yes, more maps are unlocked by playing Story Mode. I had the same thing happening to me. I played at the beginning on the same 4 or 6 maps over and over and over and over and ....

It was pretty boring and mind-numbing. but now with Story Mode finished, it is much more fun with more diversity.
