PC and PS Vita graphics
Hey guys. I have both version of Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Complete Edition on Steam and PS Vita. I just compared them and found a huge difference in graphics between them.

As you can see the PS Vita's version has a better lightning and reflection. Also it's brighter. For the PC version it looked so dim and boring. And look at Diao Chan at the last picture, her body texture and shadow looks much better on the PS Vita's version (the bottom one). I already max out everything on PC's version other than post effect, it still looked bad. Though PC's version has a higher resolution and better texture filter.

Which one do you think is better?

it is hard to argue on that,
because this game is actually a console port, and it isnt really magnificantly ported.
this game is not using PC resources properly, let alone pushing it to the fullest

I also have both versions, and the vita version is using a simpler method to do the lighting, look at the distance objects and you'll notice the pc version is shading it better, you can see that a torch is lighting up the wall in the distance, and there are shadows accross the ground and on the flag, whereas the vita version applies this bland lighting over everything in the game. You can also change up the brigtness or other pcsettings, or even get some mods liek swettfx if you dislike the graphics.

Here are the other ways the vita version is far inferior to this one:
-Runs at a lower resolution
-Textures are a much lower resolution, and have less effects
-Environments are less detailed
-Significantly less enemies on screen. This has an impact on gameplay.
-Voice is fuzzy if you don't download separate voice packs on vita that take up a lot of space
-Framerate drops all over the place. I'm not sure if it runs at 60 fps or not because I haven't played it in a while, but when rage mode was active it was definitely under 30.

The PC version is better in every way, in my opinion. They had to use simpler lighting means on the system which for some reason OP liked the look, but after getting this version I'm not sure I can ever go back. I think I can deal with the characters being less bright in the menus.

If you want a version that actually looks better, this appears to be a port of the PS3/360 version of the game despite some of the screenshots showing the other version. Here's a comparison: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MuiN9QSM3q0

However, if you are playing dynasty warriors for the graphics, you probably missed the point. What really makes the difference on this one is the framerate/number of enemies.

Sorry for the mass amount of text, I didn't expect to be writing that much. I got a bit carried away.
