Keyboard Not Working?

I've been playing DW8 for a while now, and really enjoying it. However, today I went to play the game and for whatever reason DW8 no longer recognizes any keys being pressed on my keyboard. The keyboard is still functioning outside of the game just fine. I should also note that they keyboard works without any issues in my other Steam games.

I usually paly with a controller, but I still use the keyboard for getting to the options menu and getting past the startup screen that says "Press Any Key" (which for some reason doesn't recognize my gaming controller).

Has anyone else had this issue where the keybaord suddenly stops working? If so, how can I fix it?

I figured out how to fix it. While this doesn't make any sense, I tried going through my keyboard one key at a time in hopes one would fix this glitch. For whatever reason, when I pressed the Ctrl button it suddenly starterd to work again. So, situation resolved I guess... ;)
