Any other Rage fillers?

Characters that can fill his/her rage gauge with one musuo attack?

So far I've found Xu Shu, Zhang Jiao & Diao Chan can do this. I'm curious if others exist.

Wang Yuanji gets her Musou and Rage gauges filled up pretty quickly through regular attacks, even more so when you have Musou/Rage springs equipped.

Thanks. I just realized Zhang Fei is able to fill his rage gauge with his R1 musuo in crowds. Glad to see an actual warrior is able to do this! I was getting annoyed that Koei made characters who probably never even fought a battle in the books so OP.

Triumph (for slow but hard hitting weapon which can kill enemy quick) and/or Enlightenment (weapon that can gain massive chain in short time) on weapon helps as well.

Yeah I use triumph with Guan Yu, usually only takes 2 - 3 R1 musuo attacks in crowds to fill it up. Also, I recently realized that using switch counters helps as well.

i would not recommend using triumph on characters like Guan Yu, he doesn't really rely or abuse rage in anyway. You're better off with roar for him to keep spamming musou.

i don't have time to answer this now, later on if i don't forget about this i will give you a list of good characters that actually can abuse rage. Also you have to remember that rage musou is not always the better option, on Zhang Fei's case even though his rage and true rage musou aren't bad, his r1 musou is way superior, and his dueling against stronger officers is faster when you use his c1-ex buff with his c6 unblockable grab.

Hwong Zhong has a good moshu that fills the rage real fast with arrows falling from the sky for about 7 seconds and that you can continue attacking

I hope you trust me cause i have over 330 hours in this game. Please never use enlightment, it's cool on paper but it has no cost efficiency compared to Triumph, and while triumph isn't bad it's not the most important thing to have too, roar tends to be more useful. Depends on the character and on the build:
So by rage abuse i mean characters that can or should actually build planning on rage spam even if just for the damage boost against hyper officers (if you don't have dlc, the better example of a true hyper officer is guan yu and zhang fei on Wei hypothetical route last stage Baidi Castle).

A good example of this is Ling Tong, which fills rage really fast and has really good true rage musou, plus his damage while in rage state is pretty epic with his c3(that is also what he uses to fill rage) that goes really well with induction, but his 3 normal musous are weak in comparison to many characters.

I'm not really in the mood for explaining characters though, and i'm thinking you just want a list so (i'm including all good rage fillers, even the already mentioned, that can rely on rage state or rage musou or they just do it even if they don't need to like Zhong hui):

Ma Chao with c6-ex attack
Huang Zhong with most of his attacks, he fills almost as fast as wang yuanji, (plus he kinda of breaks affinity instantly in most cases with his c2-ex, which sets a storm rush for fast fill)
Yue Ying with R1 musou if you aim at a big enough crowd (plus she has the best rage musou in the game)
Zhang Fei (R1 Musou)
Xu Shu (R1 Musou. Plus you problaby already noticed that you can use it and instantly rage musou to get true rage musou really fast, Yue Ying can do the same with her r1 musou followed by rage musou too)
Fa Zheng(Put the carpet anywhere to hit multiple people for constant fill, or use ground musou in a group to fill your rage/go into true rage super fast)
Zhou Yu (both ex attacks)
Lu Xun (c5-ex, but his c3 reliant elemental build is superior, even though less fun and harder to learn)
Sun Shang Xiang(Switch Attack spam)
Lu Meng (C1-ex spam)
Zhou Tai (Ground Musou Air Musou C3-ex)
Xiao Qiao (Switch Attack spam)
Da Qiao (Basic attacks plus R1 Musou)
Cao Ren (His c1 is surprisingly similar to Fa Zheng's, he fills fast if you know how to abuse that)
Guo Jia (Ground Musou in a decent sized group)
Lu Bu (Switch Attack Buff hit everything your musou is filled(not that this monster needs it))
Diao Chan (R1 Musou)
Zhang Jiao(R1 Musou)
Wang Yuanji (Square-String)
Zhong Hui(c1-ex)
Jia Chong (He isn't the fastest character in terms of damage but he sure can fill that rage bar).

I always play on Ulitmate difficulty, so I need to be in rage mode to beat Hyper Officers easily with Guan Yu. I don't actually use his rage musuo & yes, I mainly use his C6 EX attack and his R1 musuo(while using his EX buff of course).

Yeah, the main elements I use with most is - Velocity, Jubilation, Roar, Frenzy, Agression & Flurry. Sometimes I will make the second weapon elemental. Also, I do have all the DLC stages. My current build with Guan Yu is Velocity, Jubilation, Frenzy, Agression, Roar & Harmony. His second weapon is Frenzy, Triumph, Thunder, Induction(I'm aware Thunder + Induction are bugged together), Slash & Flurry. With this build, I can easily clear all DLC stages and even Hu Lao Gate Lu Bu dies once I enter Rage mode.

wait, have you been reading the gamefaqs forums? WarriorsXL uses pretty much the same build i would recognize it anywhere. Except triumph was with the musou weapon and velocity with the string attack c6-ex weapon and he switched harmony out for flurry cause it's really strong even in guan yu's case in which his musous do no hit more than once (twice at the edge of his r1 musou, but that doesn't count for much)

Yes! After seeing his video on youtube I changed my build a bit. Mine obviously isn't exactly the same, but I still kill Lu Bu as fast as he does in Yan Provence Animal Battle IIRC. I'll try Flurry instead of Harmony.

Cool. I forgot I switch Frenzy with Velocity on my second weapon not too long ago. Still not the same build as WarriorsXL.

I don't have an account on gamefaqs. I just happened to land on that forum looking for good weapon setups. You guys still working on a tier list for this game? LOL

yeah the problem with a tier list for this game is pretty big. It isn't as consistent as vanilla since most enemy officers spam musou and that make calculations and tiering hard.. You can't rely on cyclone anymore as a 20% hp 100% hit chance element and the fact that many weird builds came into rise. Plus apothecary himself is annoyed with this game, he is working on the tier list still but he has been silent on the forum. Even so many new things came into rise since that guan yu video was posted.
