Speaking of live-action, John Woo's "Red Cliff" (aka "Battle of Chibi: The Movie") is the bomb. Get yourself the sub-only complete version (2 parts for a total of 5ish hours) if you can XD
Their was also a NES game years ago
Destiny of the Emperor, for nintendo quite old and fun.
I don't know the animes outside there. Well, thanks for sharing.
Unfortunately i know of that one, I keep that one out on purpose.
mainly because it does not really follow the Lore and infact if a anime/manga shows you Loli Lord Lu Bu's panties in the first few scenes. IT IS CLEAR ITS MADE FOR ANOTHER AUDIENCE. Please consume that media in secret. Do not pursue Loli Lu Bu!
Oh I like how that 'Ravages of Time' sounds, I really like Sima Yi, even tho hes under the heel of his wife like in DW8
Koei also has another game series called Romance of the Three Kingdoms. They're strategy games focusing on tactics and existing in the time period. You can get 11 on the PC but the rest are old PS2 games. I highly recommend 8 and 10 if you can track them down, especially if you're into RPG's.
@Emeal4EarlyAccess:
With Sima Yi being one of my favorites ever since DW3, I kinda love his portrayal here in DW8. He's like some Silver Age super villain who married and is now just trying to be a normal husband.
@King of Wei:
I hope you'll also love the 3rd book (I think) with Zhuge Liang's and Zhou Yu's little rivalry. The game doesn't really go into all the shenanigans XD
Well, the novel isn't really a non-stop, action-packed thrill ride either. Note how the Story Mode almost always mentions how "x years have past since the last level" or something XD
