No. The Complete Edition simply means its the base DW8 game and DW8 Xtreme Legends expansion together as one game.

What you want is DW8 Definitive Edition, which is not on Steam.

No .You can see some dlcs are still sold in the store .
If it contians all the dlc,the dlcs which is sold in the store will tell you that you have already have it.

That's the Definitive Edition. The Complete Edition and Definitive Edition are two different things, but it's easily misleading for anyone not aware.

It's also probably worth mentioning that Definitive Edition is on the Windows 10 store as well. I'd recommend he get that instead of the Steam version if he hasn't already.

It's only worth it if he doesn't plan on getting DW8 Empires tho.

Since here on steam the DLC are shared between the 2 games

That's pretty nice. I had no idea. I know Empires is different, but I doubt many people except some hardcore fans would be willing to go into both of them.

DW8 Definitive Edition contains all dlc available to DW8, this is literally on the store pages.

A premium edition that includes most of the DLC! (some collaboration DLC not included)
