How to play this game?

Hi all. I just bought this game, because I think it looks interesting. I have no experience at all in this franchise. The closest game to this, that I've played is Civilization.

There's no tutorial, and when I search on Youtube for tutorials for n00bs, I seem to only find videos that talk about tips, or what's changed since AoH2 and such things.

How do you even play this game? I'm completely lost :D
Are there any tutorials/guides for people who knows NOTHING about AoH3?

All you need to know when starting is that you need money to buy armies to attack other countries

Can I select multiple provinces on macbook with no mouse?
If not, can they add an update to the game which allows for the use of keyboard shortcuts as a means of allowing laptop players to select multiple provinces?

You could buy a cheep mouse from the dollar store. Idk why you would want to do gaming without a mouse anyways
