Holy smokes what a take.. Go touch some grass bro, this isn't healthy for you
it seems americans have been doing alot of innerbreeding lately. that most explains it then
hopefully you will be able to morph features of your character during the playthrough, like in other Fable titles. it would be interesting to see, for example if you choose choices based on feminine/masculine gender roles, your character become more muscular or more frail. for example if you want to be submissive in quests you are frail but when dominant you grow muscles.
what i care about is guts of the game, the mechanics, hopefully they wont dumb it down and make it completely linear. fable was always the game where choices mattered.
I care about what the character I play in a game looks like and I want to make a character that I like and no one else's because that's my decision and no one else's.
this whole thing about making games more real annoys me.
it's the same as with movies and series.
about how they have to be more real and the characters should be more real.
I don't go to the cinema to walk around the street watching the same crap.
I want to be entertained and not be bored to death and besides nobody loves ugly things.
or are people hanging chains made of ♥♥♥♥ around their necks and putting rings made of dirt on their fingers.
or do we eat our food raw and disgusting because it has to look more like the animal we kill for or the vegetables that we pull straight out of the ground.
probably not.
we prepare it because it should look tasty and beautiful and not disgusting.
that should be the case with everything.
at least that's my opinion.
Make it optional then or watch your company going broke. Again: videogames/movies ≠ reality. Make it reality and there is no reason to buy them. We already have reality at home.
Why do they "need" to be represented exactly? What is the "need"? This is not a charity but a commercial product designed to make profit. The target audience rejects her design because it's unappealing, disregarding their feedback will hurt sales. Look at the Sonic movie and how the vast negative feedback regarding Sonic's character design was heard by the movie producers and they in turn remade and improved Sonic's design. Movie went on to make a profit.
Would you go to a car dealer and go out of your way to buy the ugliest car in the lot? Maybe you would, but most would buy the conventionally attractive car. Ignoring the demands of the market and your target audience will inevitably lead this game to lose sales, and for what? To make ugly people feel better about themselves? Ugly people can better themselves by exercising, improved grooming and make-up. Games should not act like a charity delivering therapy to the masses.
the things some men have to say, to get laid. pathetic get some respect man!
Lets hope so or this game is DoA. When I play a male MC its not some tiny bald dude with a pot belly either
