Controller doesn't work

Using the official or default steam input layout doesn't work for the game. I'm using a 8bitdo ultimate controller. For other games it works fine but for whatever reason this game doesn't receive any inputs. I was wondering if anyone else had this issue, thanks!

Try actually enabling the controller in the game settings. Go to 'controls' and change the input type. Profit.

First, make sure Steam Input is disabled and try again. Atlyss has native support for X-Input controllers and doesn't need a translation layer to work with them.

If that doesn't work, go into Steam Input and find the generic controller layout in the layout settings. It should make your controller inputs function like a generic X-Input controller. It's within the templates settings and should be labeled "gamepad."
