modding help
is there a really easy way to modify textures and install mods without needing to install more than one program? if so can yall provide a youtube video that explains how to set up the one program? i don't want to download more than one program to modify textures and install mods because downloading multiple programs takes up a lot of needed storage (which i barely have any left.) thank you.

Try using r2modman from Thunderstore. It is just one program in which you just choose the game (It also provides support for many other games), make a profile for it and use provided tools to download mods, change configs, look at files and do whatever

Otherwise you can try manually installing mod loader (BepInEx or smth else, not all mods work with the first option) and adding mods manually too

I hate that 3rd party app with tons of ads and annoying popups. Is better to do a manual installation of the mods if you are like me and you hate having to open 3 apps at once, one being a 3rd party launcher with a ton of ads for games you don't care about lol
thank you!

Neither r2Modman or Bepinex have ads tho.
If your versions of r2Modman and Bep have ads, you got a faulty build, man

I don't remember the name of the launcher I got from Thunder, but it was something about wolves.

But regardless of that, using a separate launcher to launch steam apps is so bad, specially if you play on Big Picture Mode in your living room TV.

The normal Thunderstore Launcher has ads, but r2modman doesn't

If you dont like using a separate launcher, you should be able to install the mods manually, that way you can just launch through steam and still play with mods.

Yeah! That's what I did. There was a tutorial included with the mods so I just followed it.

r2modman doesn't have ANY ads, i literally use this app and can say it. But yeah, you can install stuff manually for each game and update manually too
