Lets put all matters aside for real here I honesty don't think 13 and under should even be playing games that in their own words tells you mature content is questionable and possible subjected "possible" but in reality most of the younger aged gamers are either really curious about animalmorphic RPGs or straight up furries which i have nothing against its just how the rest of said minor aged gamers gives a bad rep for the game/community so possible an Age Rating PG 16 or 15 is more ideally reasonable cause A) A teenager that age isn't to young or old to know the difference between fictional buttspanking taunts or in most unfortunate cases a really really not safe for work lobby that specially tells anyone that joins the host is wanting erotic roleplaying and that right there is what greylines the PG 13 rating for minimal age allowed on this game but kids will be kids right... -w- also i don't condone about miniors lying about their age and getting simple roleplayers that wanna have that kinda fun on their own lobby's getting in chit cause some kid lied bout their age and now ending up with angry parents patronizing said host to that erp lobby and well its a 50/50 deal both on the minor age player lying about said age and getting their hands slapped after said parents read a very inappropriate text message in game chatbox :/ and the other half at fault is host itself for letting their lobby be open to public players that freely can join regardless if they've been honest or lie about their actual age :( don't be that individual that shows this game/community its nsfw its a very good game that is fun and if questionable nsfw lobbies are made then always password lock them and tell your own friends about it so no innocent any aged gamers stumbles across some lewd stuffs just a tidbit of advice from a greymuzzle >w> but all and all pawsome word Devs on this game keep up da great work mya

Until I got over-levelled enough to relax and "summon" Slime Diva just to hang around and see her pretty face, I didn't know she was making that pose at all - I saw the motion of her arms and while focused on dodging I thought she was raiding her hands, blasting the slimes at me from there after putting away her wands.

I still don't think it's that big of a deal. Phantasy Star Universe had you fight a giant four-armed robot woman with her bare, nipple-less breasts out as a prominent part of attacking her - Mother Brain.

That was still only rated T for Teen.

Believe it or not, 12~14 year olds are capable enough mentally to decide if they don't want to see certain content.

I agree that this is a game I wouldn't give to a child no less than 16, same as the original God of War trilogy and any GTA. But I also won't go on a world tour to demonize it as the next Pizza Gate.

There's also the point about how majorities and minorities perceive things about what's sexual and what's not. And from what it seems, many people out there simply cannot detach suggestive content from straight up porn. To them, these two are one and the same, and I don't blame them. I don't know if the majority of people out there are like that, but if the amount is still important enough to form a big controversy, then developers may be eventually forced to err in the side of caution and start pulling back content like this in a self censoring bid.

As for obscenity, while societies around the world do have some set examples everyone would agree on what is obscene, some other examples may be up to individual opinion. Though I can safely say, no part of this game seems to be obscene, so at least we can toss out that term from any future discussions. But, as I said before, we have to take into account all the people out there who see even simpler character designs with traits that may arouse people (actually just males) as "sexual content", condensing everything from suggestive themes down to straight up porn into those two words. And it's those people who may see this game as needing a higher age rating.

Lastly, to those few who I've seen bringing it up, while it's not really a law thing, society, at least in the West, seems to shield children much less from violence and gore than from sexual situations. So usually, the shotgun comes before the condom...

Lmao. So many furries doing mental gymnastics in this thread to argue that the game isn't inherently sexual in any way. Quick question: Would you feel comfortable showing this game to your parents/grandparents? If not, why is that? Life tip: If you wouldn't show something to your family at a holiday gathering, don't show it to kids. That's a good rule to live by.

Obviously the game is horny. It was made by a NSFW furry porn artist. Your character does sexual poses in the character creation process, like exposing their whole dumptruck to you when changing the ass slider. You can make a character as wide as they are tall and make 75% of their total mass boob/butt. That's not "realistic" by any measurements and kids shouldn't be exposed to goon-brained content like that until they're older and can control their urges.

Yes, being too strict and protective of media can lead to content being bland and overly sanitized. I don't think anyone here doesn't believe that. But on the opposite spectrum, you're either a furry who goons to this kind of stuff or a groomer if you think this game is okay for kids under 18 to play.

As a furry myself, I think kids shouldn't be exposed to fetish-y stuff like this until they've developed real social skills and the ability to separate media from reality. I'm also too aware of how many groomers are in the furry community, and I don't want to risk underaged kids ending up on a server with a predator.

Bare in mind that at least over in europe, their standards of what is acceptable to show on TV are inverted.

Here in America, we abhor depictions of sex and nudity, while glorifying violence.

Where as over in their part of the world, they seem to be quite fine with displays of nudity, but are very sensitive to gore and violence.

I think the main issue are with the age ratings from across the world, and what Atlyss will land on at its current state. Like would Kiseff apply for a T or an M here in the United States?
