Yeah, it's really just the players that take it any further. Just stick to PVE lobbies with Non suggestive titles, single player, or just play with friends; you'll be fine.

The game by default is merely suggestive, and isn't actually sexually explicit.

The multiplayer community, on the other paw, are a bunch of hand holders.

I've heard tales of there being a 'penis mod' for the game, but it can only be obtained through somebody's Discord.

I forgot that even exists.

Mods are client-side. If you don't have them installed, they don't show up. Since Atlyss is multiplayer, this does limit mods to cosmetic stuff. If a mod adds content, not only is there a need to update the mod as Atlyss updates, but there's also a high chance of causing save corruption when playing online (how do you show an item to someone who doesn't have it installed?).

So, who knows how many hand holders have the R18 mods installed. You'll never know until you install them yourself.

There is also options for disabling the more extreme end of the sliders and physics if you think hand holding is too spicy for your sensitive eyes. Will affect you AND any others you see, client side.

You can have your characters proportions quite large, which ironically is furry standard.
You can make female and male characters with huge breasts and bottoms, belly too.
Most npc's that do have large "proportions" has heavy jiggle physics including your character.
Its not out right porn but the games nature definitely caters to a more mature furry audience, which doesn't make it bad, but that's up to you to decide.

It's a matter of perspective, really. There have been no shortage of folks who argue that the game is sexually explicit despite the fact that the game itself is labeled as merely featuring sexually suggestive content.

Heck, there are those who consider anything featuring anthropomorphic animals as furry fetish bait.

Personally, I don't consider anything to be a "furry fetish" shy of hardcore pornography featuring furry characters whose reproductive organs more closely match those of animals rather than humans. That's where I draw the line.

As far as ATLYSS goes, you can make female characters with exaggerated proportions, their breasts/buttocks jiggle when in motion, and there's a particular boss known as the Slime Diva who fires projectiles from her breasts.

In my experience, a ton of people seem to have the unlimited slider option, so they can make giants and micros.

However, I understand that this mod only affects your cosmetic size, and has no impact on your hit box detection. So you could be taller than Angela, and not be able to hit anything unless you were standing directly on top of them.

Honestly, the Shantae series has more explicit fanservice than Atlyss does. We have yet to see a character taking a bubble bath fully naked with only bubbles serving as a censor, for one.
