After "rude" achievement Angela just seems... not as happy....

I can't be completely sure, but does Angela's face change to look less smiley and cheerful and more serious and "so done with this" permanently after the achievement? I could be wrong. but it really feels like her face permanently changed. I don't know why... are the changes to her face just really subtle? Or am I imagining this? It would be very nice if there was a way for the character to apologize to Angela and go on a quest to get her a gift and some food she likes, and then her face becomes more happy and warm and cheerful again, or even more than before? It would also be cool if there was a way for the character to hug all npc's in a strictly professional and appropriate way. Or maybe even the npc's could pick up the character and hug them! This would be nice because the npc's seem to really care about the character, but don't have too many ways to show it. The character goes and fights monsters in dungeons and dies thousands of times, but no warm hug? no milk and cookies? I'm just saying.

i haven't got the game yet, so i got no idea about the face thing, but it 100% would be cool to hug the characters, or even be forcefully picked and hugged by the larger ones XD. i bet it'd be pretty funny to just be yoinked off the ground and hugged when you were about to head off on a quest (though i think that should be an option you can turn off if it did get added since i could see it getting annoying to some)

Leaving aside my personal feelings about the Rude achievement, Angela's facial expressions are unchanged compared to the singleplayer demo from itch.io, which I still have installed. I understand her expression feeling different - I had the same thought, and perhaps there is a subtle difference I missed.

However, she looks as downcast as ever, which I am currently attributing to the weight she's carrying - literally, the survival of the world as it currently is rests on her shoulders.

Okay obviously IN REAL LIFE nobody should ever just randomly hug or make surprise physical contact with uninformed non-consenting random people because I believe that's considered assault (allegedly) (don't try it!) But as someone who has never really been hugged... In a VIDEO GAME.... dear goodness gosh. I mean, I would appreciate Angela giving me a hug. It's not a real hug, but it's like my soul gets a hug. It's just a kindness, a mercy. It's not because "UHHHH ANGELA ATTRACTIVE LOL". It's just strictly a non-suggestive thing because "Angela is protecting the world and she cares" and getting a hug (A CONSENTING COMPLETELY FRIENDLY NORMAL HUG, GET YOUR MIND OUT OF THE GUTTER!) from Angela (or any of the npc's in the game) would simply be nice because it's comforting and would make me feel safe and protected. Like "hey, they care about me, I'm not just some random comic book isekai bus victim to them that they summoned to clean up dungeons for them."

yeah i agree fully, irl it'd be assault at worst and just a breach of personal space at best, but i mean in goofy game like this it'd be kinda whatever, also i think we are forgetting that we are able to sexually assault angela by slapping her rump and she clearly doesn't like it, so i think her yoinking the player for a wholesome hug would be far from the worst thing that can happen in the game. and i wasn't ever meaning anything in a kinky way, i just think it'd be kinda nice like how you described, just a way of showing that they care about the player.

(edit: also i did say there should be a setting to turn it off or on. at that point you would be giving them the ok to yoink your ass and hug you, so it wouldn't be against your will technically so it can't be assault)

While many regular humans in the real world can only associate certain outfit choices, or lack of them, as a sexual suggestive thing, I like to think that fictional worlds like this one are fabricated as not 100% human conforming, with maybe different thoughts and ways to see fellow sentient beings. Wardrobe choices and how these beings inhabiting those worlds see each other may be different from how humans in the real world do.

I mean, Anime, which is usually mostly about humans, has this in droves, with characters wearing stuff no sensible human would wear in real life outside of some cosplay activity. Yet the people looking at them and interacting with them, in plenty of cases, won't bat an eye about the looks of that fantasy character wearing no pants and a skirt that covers only mid bum and is open fully on the front side, and a cleavage the size of mount Fuji. Because in that world, that's normal clothing.

Now, as for the hug topic, I wouldn't mind a consensual thing. Sure, in this case your character is so small that some of the other characters would have to pick them up for it. I think it would look funny.

And to answer the original post, I haven't seen any change in the NPC after I got the achievement with one of my alts. If there is some change, I haven't seen it.
