Thanks, haha. I originally played with bows, but when I picked up a cool pair of katars I immediately got the charge attack and realized how broken it is compared to literally everything else in the game. The only thing that came close to the damage katars put out was the bell. That's a little slower in dps, but it's safer since you can kite with it (hit, dash, repeat). I can easily solo everything in the game with this build without breaking a sweat.
I have spare stuff if you want it.
Otherwise, all current 'best' stuff if dropped from the bottom floors of Crescent Grove and Sanctum Catacombs, with the main 'bis' pieces being from each perspective boss.
The monsters in the dungeon and chests all drop the same loot regardless of what part of the dungeon your in. As for boss pieces, I meant for the pieces the bosses specifically drop. Each dungeon boss has a drop table of different gear they, and only they, drop.

Thanks. I think I understand now, and I'm slowly realizing that I'm going to be doing a lot of repeated boss battles now... lol
Recovery is a 50 second cooldown. You will always have Alacrity up for Recovery if you go OOM. Even if you get unlucky and go under 3 mana you'll still be able to use Recovery faster. It also just makes Recovery cheaper and instantaneous.
I would recommend a build like this:
Venom Shot
Spread Shot/Bomb Trap
Volley
Devious Signet/Inner Focus
Alacrity/Mist Veil
Recovery/Devious Signet
Yes, there's no inclusion of Pay Day or Killer Jab. There is no point unless you're using Katar, but Volley literally does what Katar does against groups of enemies. Though, who am I to judge what you can or can't do? Killer Jab is similar to Bomb Trap (and is also good for Inner Focus like Bomb Trap), and Pay Day will at least be useful for bosses; canceling their attacks while damaging them with a melee weapon.
Flamepetal staff, Serrated Longbow (side grade), and Ragespear are the best in their class without the need of farming bosses.
Yes. And I used my CDs too. Pre-plant Bomb Trap on a spawn, pop Volley on a spawn/use Volley and dash through it with the pack, use Spread Shot basically on CD, with the least used being Venom Shot for higher defense enemies or enemies outside my Serrated Bow's range to get the party started/ended.
Every skill is getting maximally spammed outside Venom Shot.
100% I'm popping potions and not just on Dummy doing max dps rotations.
No, it's not. Gathering all the mobs up is slower. You might do that because you're BROKE but I can afford an IV of potions to be optimal.
I'm 79 DEX + all pieces Precise but one Manafont. I could afford to lose the Manafont but then I'd have to use more potion keybinds, and that's annoying to me.
If I wanted to gather all the mobs up, I could just pop Sturdy and use a Coldgeist Frostcaller and out DPS bow any day.
There are only 3 other merchants besides Sally I'm familiar with.
One can be found in Tuul Valley, in a hidden alcove off to the side of the pigs.
The second one is Craig, who can be found at the entrance to the Wall of Stars, which requires entering a portal located within the Gate of the Moon region.
Finally, there's Skrit, the gambler, located directly behind Sally's shop.
