Proper Controller/Steam deck support
This game plays quite well after tinkering with the controls for a bit but things could be better. spefically bindings for the skill hotbar and items as they are a bit awkward to use atm on a controller. Same goes for navigating menus, with my layout everything is good except you have to navigate menus using the touchscreen.

I made a layout that works quite well. Make sure to use one of the track pads as a mouse and the other as a hotbar, then assign F1-4 to the back buttons and put F5 (if you really need it) as a long press somewhere.

Mine was exactly that until I realised there was no way to make the level up popups go away so I binded all the other menus to the left track pad as a radial menu, rebinded the Grip buttons to be the F keys for consumables,

I put the skills on the right touchbar because its faster than reaching for the dpad which Idk what to use it for

Unrelated but this game would benefit from steam cloud

I have a bunch of menus on the d-pad along with the lexicon. It also helps to rely on long presses if you're running out of space. I have changing the weapon set on the left stick click and sheathing the weapon as a long press on that as well.
