tell me about the warbands and unit types.
So, tell me about the different warbands. I know there are 4, but I have no interest in using monsterish units, so I assume there is only 2 bands that I would be interested in?

Are all the female units just in the one warband? Or are there a mix of genders in each, or can you mix and match units from different warbands? Just a few details that interest me when I am playing rpgish games.

I am curious as to what kind of teams, and what type of diversity there is in different units.

Each warband at max consists of one leader unit, 4 heroes (chosen from a pool of 3 unit types) and 5 henchmen/novice units (chosen from a pool of 2 units types.
Each warband also has a impressive unit (Rat Ogre/Chaos Spawn/Ogre/Maiden of Sigmar) which they can take at the cost of 2 hero units

The Sisters of Sigmar are made up of all woman. Basically the warrior priestess of the Warhammer fantasy world. They have access to weapons like fails, maces and hammers and 3 types of their units can cast divine spells they have no access to any ranged weapons and only one ranged damage spell (comet of Sigmar) The rest of their spells are a mix of buffs and debuffs.

The next Human band are the Mercenaries, your basic sell swords of the fantasy world. The units are all men, with their impressive unit being an ogre. They have the greatest selection of weapons in the game, with most units being able to take ranged (bows/rifles or pistols) and melee. They also have the choice of a wizard unit casting a good selection of damage and debuff spells. Generally they are seen as the most well rounded warband so far.

Malice could u also explain the 2 other warbands as u did these 2? Ur explanations give a very good insight to what to expect form the warband.

Not a problem,

Cult of the Possessed are you rounded up all in Chaos warband. Their leader is their only spell caster but has some really good buff/debuff spells. Two of their uint types (one henchman and one hero) can take a bow (their only ranged weapon) the rest of the units (excluding The Spawn and Possessed) can take a wide selection of h2h weapons and all armor types/shields (except marauder hero unit who can only take light or cloth)
Then they have the Possessed (hero unit) who can only eqipt armands and cloth armor but inflicts fear on any unit in combat with him.
Spawn, their impressive unit, again only armbands and cloth armor but inflicts terror on any unit in combat with it.

Last the Skaven the rat men of the Warhammer world. Nimble and fast, the quickest Warband out of the 4. They have access to Eshin Sorcerer (can take up to 4) castin a selection of buff /debuff, aoe and damage spells. 2 of their hero units and leader have access to weeping blade weapons (debuff posion) and warplock pistols, short ranged but pack a punch. One type of their henchman units can also be equipped with pistols, Their impressive unit is the Rat Ogre fast and powerful but has to pass a stupidity test at tyhe start of every turn if not in combat to be able to move. Skaven work very well with hit and run tactics.

If theres anything else you want more info on, just ask
