quick question about spell points

If I understand this, the only way to gain them are trough skill and maybe some drop item.
So, in your opinion, is better to invest in that skill or wait For the drop if I want some casting choice?

Spell points are gained primarily by just ranking. At Rank10 each mage will have gained 16 additional spell points for 18 total (since you start with 2 spent).

You can get up to 6 more from skills, and 2 more from a tome. I would hold off on spending the skill points until way later in development.

What Stymie said. Your main source of Spell Points is like Skill Points, when gaining Ranks. For example, the Matriarch gains 2 points at Ranks 2, 4, 6, 8 and gains 6 points at Rank 10.

IMO, most of the skills are tactically interesting, depending on your playstyle.
And actually, I have to say that I'm scared to invest skill points and not being able to restat my dear warband.
This game proposes dilemmas at each stage. I like it.

And yeah, dilemmas take two m.

Don't be too scared. Later on if you don't like a warrior you're able to hire a lot of high level characters, so you can kind of respec.
