I guess you have searched everywhere too, but anyway, have a look at the buildings and their upper levels (east from spawn), and the whole sewers (there are many in there, stacked, and near the enemy's wagon)
A small group (might even be just one) just outside the building on the corner of the raised wharf.
Two groups on the ground floor of the building; one underneath the stairs and one in a corner.
2-3 groups upstairs.
well i saved it off m'b ill go look again....
Or did you buy a different version of the game from everybody else ?
It is clearly an example of misleading design made specifically to mess with players. Before this mission all the interactibles were clearly marked on the map with icons. And here suddenly they have no icon. Why? Because ♥♥♥♥ you that's why, it's a hardcore game, we suddenly decided your main objective should be invisible. Then I figured out I should probably use perception, although tutorial clearly tells you it is used to find traps, not primary mission objectives.
Was it impossible to mark those spots on the map? No. All the loot containers and wyrdstone are marked on it. Why the ♥♥♥♥ would you hide the barrels? Was it difficult at least to make those markers ingame as visible as every other marker? I don't think so.
This is simply a question of quality of the game.
Quality of the games from Rogue Factor is crap. Especially the UI part. And no, crappy UI doesn't mean it's hardcore.
