What builds are people using for the Priest of Ulric?
I can't find one that I find satisfying. His buffs are great for a melee warband, so I was thinking Sisters, but he doesn't seem strong enough to warrant dropping a Purifier over.

I was thinking of focussing him on buffing and charging? He'd be easy to kill however, but I can't find another niche he is particularly strong in.

Share your wisdom.

Let's put it this way: if you thought the Maiden hit like a truck before, try switching her lord and saviour to Ulric the Wolf Lord for a round... oh, and how do you like having your entire coven cluster causing Fear?

Well hes buffs is very good, his spell damage not so compare to purifiers. But then i lower enemies blue pills per spell but have a higher curse chance.

The perefect warband he would fit well in would be a warband made for crit chargers with great swords I think, have a plan for a awarband like that :D

A proper Middenheimer warband with hammers that hit and crit like trucks that's my next plan... ;-)

What about with a Mercenaries warband built around 5 warrior henchmen with halberds, web of steel and mighty charge with 2 Priests of Ulric for mass buffs? Maybe throw in 2 Wizards for debuffs and ranged damage, and a warcry captain.

Sounds like a good combo :)

So I finally figured out a build I like for him. He replaces a Purifier in my Cheerleading Sisters team built around a buffed up Maiden getting lots of attacks with Sigmars Second Wind.

For skills I give him:
Skills
-Armour Proficient-Mastered
-Devotion -Mastered
-Defensive Stance-Mastered
Serenity-Mastered

Spells: -Ulrics Gift -Mastered
-Blessing of Ulric-Mastered
-Wild Pack-Mastered

This takes advantage of his great leadership passive so he has good melee resist against impressives with serenity and defensive stance, as well as when outnumbered. Mostly he Ulric gifts the maiden, and blessings of Ulric the party and hits something while the Matriarch Warcry's and Blessings of Sigmar's, giving everyone huge damage.

I have 6 points of left over skills for him, and I can't decide where to go with them. Current options:

Ulrics Chosen-M +10% casting chance is good for his role, as he's primarily a buffer, 10% crit damage doesn't hurt either.

Knowledge Mordheim-M More movespeed is always great.

Crush the weak-M Hard to get to, as you need 15 Accuracy, I'm not sure if it's possible to get max weapon skill as well, but WOW! 30% crit resistance reduction! With buffs, fatality and vital strike you could have almost 100% crit on someone.

Resilient-M He primarily relies on armour to survive, if he gets crit he is in huge trouble.

Wild Swipe-M Interesting power, haven't tested it yet, but hitting multiple people with great weapons sounds fun.

@Trueseeing - how did you master Serenity? It requires Leadership 15 and his max is 12?

Book of Training: Leadership would bump his max up to 15.

I use him as a heavy hitter melee with some buffs/debuffs. I give him my standard unstoppable and weapon skill focus and strong blow; then sometimes swift charge and larger ambush range. For spells I like winter chill alot then wolf pack one. He usually ends up being my most melee damager dude - seen him hit for 100hp at rank 5.

Impossible to make serenity M + Blessing of Ulric M on one wolfpriest. U will need a 15/15 stats, even with books u can only have 15/14 or 14/15. So this build is unreal.
