Lore Links to this area and time period

I'd love to read or watch some videos that detail more information about these warbands, the area, or the time period, if anyone can provide some links to this sort of material it would be greatly appreciatied.

Not much out there. There is a comic book about Ulli and Marquand(sp?) set in Mordheim. It is rather hard to get a hold of. You would have better luck looking into the Warhammer fantasy world. For instance there is a Warhammer novel written about a Witch-Hunter, who acts very similar to the Witch-Hunter warbands. Would that work?

You can read the Mordheim Rulebook. It contains not just the rules, but also a great amount of info on the background of this game. As the old version of the tabletop game is officially retired by Games-Workshop, the "Living Rulebook" is now available online on other non-GW sites. Just google "Mordheim Living Rulebook" and odds are the top result is it.

The Living Rulebook was compiled by Andy Hall and co., the former is currently Creative Assembly's lead writer for Warhammer: Total War, and was a writer/editor for Games-Workshop back when Mordheim was still supported.

No they won't mate. You won't find anything about Mordhiem until around the 300s. Trust me, I have a mountain of the really old school issues. ;)

Warhammer monthly had a few comics about mordheim but dont recall much lore from it tbh. As for chaos you can find lore on who/what the shadowlord is in the "storm of chaos" and in armies of chaos 5'th edition theres a bit of story on him.
