Well, beated Witch Hunter campaign
Is it just me or was the whole Campaign somewhat easier than those of the others?
I'm not even talking about ones like Cults' Regenerating enemies, but in my experience at least Mercs had much higher difficulty all across.

Witch Hunter's last Mission (Palace) was a cakewalk. None knocked out, one got Light Wounds. Compare to Mercenary Palace which I still haven't cleared (training Serenity Champions for the job), and that's not even their last Story Mission!

Or... Or! Maybe you're not as ♥♥♥♥ as when you did the others, or simply know the layout of the mission maps better? :D

oh, don't you try to say that campaign missions for different warbands are similar or even the same? Tried only Mercs so far myself.

Except for the part where I'm uncertain if I could even get through the Merc Palace even today, had I a Warband for it ready. Respawning Alluress > a respawning Librarian; reinforcement Marauders > reinforcement Horrors in some corner they never got out; Daemonette's around the whole map > one of each Daemon.

So yes, I might be better than I was, but the Missions are simply easier too.

Oh, I'd love to help, but I can't recall, at all, where the Vials we're. Have you tried the giant hole that leads to the sewers where the Maiden sits? Because there might have been one there, on her corpse.

Can't say I had much trouble with any story missions so far.
Haven't done Mercs or Sisters yet, but Skaven and Cult have been easy.
Only one that was a little challenging was the Palace with Skaven, because I didn't know what to expect.

I was doing Skaven and WH campaign missions parallel a few weeks ago. I wanted to beat WH act II then got stuck on the bugged vial in II-2 (can't get past that mission, bug reported) so I took up my Skaven campaign from act II and I definitely felt the WH-missions to be easier and faster (oftentimes you don't need to clear the whole map as they restricted access to some areas or made them a bit more straightforward). So I definitely share that impression...

I appreciate them being a bit more straightforward (some of the original Missions are kinda anal-retentive), but the easy took me a bit by surprise.
I'm on a verge of suggesting they make at least the last Mission a bit harder. Something like a Chaos Ogre in the Ballroom or something.

Ya, I agree, wh too easy. While i just barely did the allures mission you mentioned before with a wb 600 rating above the suggested.

Aluress has become more manageable now that the deamonette reinforcements got taken out. But some missions seem to have been designed to be failed the first time around. Maybe with witch hunters the development tried to go for a less hate provoking campaign. Though I have steered clear of it so far myself.l so can't judge

The thing is, I did it with Mercenaries when it was Marauders. And a constant stream of Glass-cannons wears a Warband down pretty fast.
Compare to Pink Horror, which in my case spawned in the stables or whatever, and never got to me. Even if it did, I doubt it hurts more than those Marauders did.

With Skaven, I'm pretty sure it was Mercs Warriors as reinforcements.
Iirc, there were 5-6 Daemonettes, a Champion, A Sister Superior, two other heroes and the Alluress. Got pretty brutal, because I pulled the Alluress without realizing she'd respawn and there were still 3 Daemonettes and a few others up. Ended up killing her 4-5 times.

Haven't played the WH's campaign, but IMO, easier to harder campaigns are Skaven, Sisters, Mercs and CotP. Clearly there's a difference between campaigns, but Skaven felt the easiest because have less objectives and the MS makes EVERYTHING easier.
