Really enjoying the Poison Globadiers!
I got a pair of these gassy rats in my WB, and in unison they are quite deadly. Both have warplock pistols with weeping blades as secondary weapons, and are quite effective as finishers after my warp guards soften up the enemy (with the help of warp ammunition, of course).

Got a ways to go for that---most of my hours in this game were in Early Access, and I only recently started playing again with the availability of the Witch Hunter DLC. That is certainly a build to look forward to!

THX!

If you have fun with the globaldier try the doomweaver :D
moneytalk18 Jun 26, 2016 @ 12:16am
For some reason, I'm not having that much fun with Doomweaver at the moment. I build it to have the highest Arcane curse chance to occur hoping for Horrendous Pain. I also have the skill Cauterize to be able to clear the Open Wounds and avoid downtime after each battle (This is where my Globadier Healer comes into play bigtime!).

Unforunately, Horrendous Pain seldom happens and most of the time, my Doomweaver either lose all its SP, OP, or get stunned.

I did however like his Spells and Idols but will need to build my Doomweaver to have the Arcane Curse chance decreased.

I usually run mine as a healer as well (they are just that good)

@moneytalk18 have you tried a melee build and do you find that viable?

I've played around with it for a bit and it seems like you could do something funny with them :)

With Globadier or Doomweaver?

I had this idea:
I haven't tried melee build for Globadier yet.

That build you showed is very interesting. Might tweek some of its passive skill since Poison Expert and Potent Globes will only support the Poison Globe skill. I might probably trade the Potent Globes for Warp Poison instead. But still, very interesting setup. :)

I have a Nurgle warband and the Spawn (immune to poison) and Globadier (poison globes) are a fun combo. Globadier tries to get as close to as many enemies as possible poisons the area, vents (-20% to hit AoE), goes into defensive stance (he's built for melee resistance with a shield of shielding and a mace of Venom to debuff enemies). Spawn built for crit and sidestep enters the fray, cripples the hero units. Rest of the band (built for high poison resistance) supports or goes wyrdstone picking... ;-)

Nice setup as well! This combination is similar to mine (Globadier with Spawn), only difference is that my Globadier is staying at the back healing the Spawn. Can also do Warp Globes to give does -15% resistance without worrying about Spawn getting affected by it.

That sounds like art!... Wait a minute! ;)

Does the Globatiers heal Globe also heal the enemy?

If you hit them - yes :)

Is it overkill to piar him up with an Eschin Sorc?

This is the first Skaven WB I've played without the sorcerer. I don't miss him. Everybody has warp ammo, poison blades, gas----no need for sorcery so far with these murderous little rat-thingies!
