Warband Skirmish

Has anyone here tried warband skirmish? It is on sale right now for switch and I would rather buy it than play it on mobile with micro transactions. It seems to have some improvements and downgrades compared to this game but I love the genre and Warhammer universe so I am interested in hearing what you guys think so I can try to make an informed decision. It is sort of hard to find information about it

I played it on mobile. Kinda fun but very grindy. Equipment is very expensive so takes many missions to save up. If someone dies you can't recover their gear either.

Thanks. I don't mind a good grind as long as you can take it at your own pace. Can you grind as much as you want or are you eventually forced into higher difficulty and ultimately losing your people/stuff

Been a long time since I played, but I think it tried to balance ratings like this game does. I don't think you can put guys in reserve though or skip days. So your high level guys fight alongside your newbies and injured warriors just miss that mission while they heal.

It's a....very very very ugly game sadly, case in point take a look at their idea of what a rat ogre is.

It does a few things better than this, namely it has more Factions, but they're very limited, maps are small, and battles are way short
