You can, but I'd say stick to one of those until oyu know the Character in and out.
Some say you could use Necromancers as ranged units, but I like to keep my casters as casters.
Though if you've just started the warband, I'd turn the 1st Dreg into a melee guy, because early on in the game, ranged combat is very weak compared to just hashing it out in melee.
Once you get the feel for things and some good loot, then maybe hire a hired sword Dreg, so that it can learn Quick Reload right away.
Kinda like this, can change nerve shoot if you want to another active skill. The rest you can use as you want, traps maybe.
You can change so he has 16 ballistic but if you keep it at 15 when you reach smugller lv 5 with your main then you will get book of martial and be able to buy em, this will give him 3 extra points that you can put in accuracy and give him mastered headshoot.
I got that, you blue and yellow bastard. -.-
hahahha ?
Why not, Mad mushroom suicide him a couple time till you get one with AMOK.
Who needs leadership then!
