It is not recommended for just 49 hours of play though. The best way to play at that level is to play the game normally. Once you are used to the game, you can expand on ways to power level small groups. Remember that experience allows the small groups to survive.
Start rank 5 with 1 leader, 1 big guy, 7 henchmen.
Max out the BG asap in the most aggressive and mobile build available.
Max support leader.
Never have a hench with a level above 2.
Farm the highest wyrdstone mission with a big guy rush on the grouped enemies. They will be hench mostly, around level 4 to 5, and you should be able to dispose of them by turn 4 max with the slowest warbands.
Rince and repeat.
However, I will eventually include your style in the guide (with your permission). There is a similar style posted in the forums.
And yes, go for it, just do not call it a gameplay please, calll it farming, that's really all it is.
Anyhow, I was asking for best farming method.
And by Skirmishes, do you mean PvP? Or against the AI?
Against AI.
Xp mostly. So I've most of Warband roster available. You know how you don't have Marauders(for example) until...Warband level 8(I think). That sort of thing.
Oh right.
I just wanted to level fast while preserving my crucial characters(commanders etc) for RP and Skirmish AI purposes.
I thought this'd be self evident, I'll be more detailed in future.
Find friend who will help you with this .
So you both go in Skirmish game , If you want to get 9 exp per match (3m ) then u should get your WB rating at leas 1200 lower then ur opponent (reason for this is , he will be DEADLY opponent meaning +3 exp for you )
from 0-10 lvl in 2h
2 for match , 3 for objective , 1 for decaicive victory , 3 for deadly = 9 exp
So setup :
Merchants 2 (fastest Map)
, 95% treshhold (no matter morale -16loss will be ehough for morale test , or opponent can volontery rout ), Sneak attack , and Objective Crush their will .
Winner MUST use unit with at least 8 move if Hero or 7 Move if leader (reason SP balance ) It helps exhoustion skill .
So you take Idol return to ur cart , and he can volontery rout , ur opponent wont get injury so relax . but in case save backup .
Inportant Setup around wagon in Sneak attack is in dodge Stance so u can move freely around them , other setup is in ambush so u leave path to wagon clear .
Also u can both players can share exp , meaning 5 exp for loser (loser must get deadly exp +3 and match +2) winer going for the idol and have Rating higher then opponent so winner will get 3 objective +1 vctory and 2 match =6
Now when u LVL all your units and reserve to 10 unskilled , u backup save , test ur builds , and reload when u get new idea.
It help when u have 5/5/5 reputation , so download some savegame files so u dont lack items and runes
Just beautiful. Now, if only I could do this(I don't know anyone who plays Mordheim).
Anything campaign related?
