Newbie Question : Hero costs
I just picked up Mordheim and all it's DLC and I see that the paid heroes have zero gold cost options.

Can someone explain why that is and are they weaker / worse then the one that costs gold.

They are not weaker actually they are around rank3 warband hero quality (This dont make em better than rank0 availabillity in the long run). But you get 2 of the DLC heroes for free for every WB.

You get 2 DLC heroes for free, because the Developer felt it would be unfair to make you pay twice, once out of game and once in game. To semi quote Kes "If you spend real money for it, you should get to use it right away".

Should you lose both of the 0 gold DLC heroes, they cost the same amount of money as everyone else.
