slapping children is quite punk.

recommended to all non french, though you will not understand a single word, you' ll have access to the french mind through the explicit video.
this will fit you
i think its pretty popular but just in case

its about the only good song from this group sadly.
you also have this, and it has the advantage of having 4 albums of it: "rolling on pissed off funk"

Btw, for those interested in early punk. Search for Los Saicos Demolicion. Think it is from the mid 60ies. I am atm at work, so can't link it.
I love those obscure countries rock bands.
In every country there's one that just could have made it up front were they to sing in perfect english.
And sometimes music could have skipped a few years were they to have been known.
today: PERU
these guys are pretty good, i like them.
sounds like the beatles copied a lot, same for the pretty things.
that's a fair bunch of dirty muchachos there.(yeah, i know, not mexicans)
i write while i have it on, salvaje is ahead of its time clearly, the more i listen, the better i find them.
thanks :), theyare in my library now.
el entierro de los gatos is cool too, keeps on getting as good.
EDIT; i love them. they even are psych when it wasn't a thing yet.

But this song in particular wasn't found from me before. Nice.
Another tip in this direction:

You mean the Carpenter movies?

Secondly, your musical knowledge is astounding. I'm curious if your exposure comes primarily from online sources or do you own many of these recordings? Is your audiophilia virtual or physical?
I really enjoyed the Gal Costa album, the link I found had many of her other albums so I'll check em out and then try to track down the real thing. (Honestly I can't stand listening to things on Youtube (I hate commercials/advertising), but it is a great way to share and get to know something new.
Yep, I do enjoy "Indus-Krautwork-minimalist-dada". I actually own a recording of Marcel Duchamp which is a spoken word and performance album; also a double disc of Futurism and Dada recordings by artists like Russolo, Marrinetti, Tzara, etc.
Dada is the original punk I think.
Great selections everyone!
Highlights for me...
Katerine, Liberte. Yes! Vive la France
The Budos Band. I misread it as Bilbos Band for a second (maybe it's the wizard lol). Then I thought the music should be in a film that is Lord of the Rings meets the Magnificent Seven.
EL Huervo. Alec Empire live.
Lorn. Impressions of Autechre
Escape from L.A. The Flash Soundtrack by Queen.

Listen to it alongside Escape from L.A.
Something totally different...

Speaking of attitude as being punk...

Willie never seemed to make it to stardom but many who covered his songs did.

Early Autechre, what Lorn brought to my mind.

Nina Simone is one of the best female singer ever imo. RIP. One of my aunts is a big fan of her, she was visiting a concert in the middle 80ies in Zürich and keeps telling us, it was the best live performance she ever witnessed.
Thx for sharing Autechre, went in my next DLC list. Quite spherical sound, early ambient. I love 'Eggshell'. 'Nil' I already know, but wasn't aware of the artist.
One source for me for new music meanwhile are videogames. Games like Bastion, Fallout New Vegas, Ori, Furi, etc. I bought mainly because of the music.
