Mordhiem is with a warband now you can play with less then the max amount which is 10 or 1 impressive and 8. you do have 1 leader however
you wont be able to play with just your leader as you need to do shipments of wrydstone to keep upkeep and that requires you to get more slots for carrying meaning more units in your warband to do so.
there is an ai {single player} or multiplayer {skirmish} option
I believe steam does not give refunds.
If the question is 'can you play on your own, without other humans, vs an AI opponent' then yes, that is entirely possible.
Play the tutorials.
You are wrong. Singleplayer simply means that you can play without multiplayer. Any game you can play without another actual person.
What you seem to be thinking of is a much more specific tag of "lone protaganist".
+1
beyond that this is based of a table top game if you googled it you would have figured out everything you would have wanted to know.
Not sure if a troll though... :)
I mostly play RPG's. I have played every major and most minor RPGs since the mid 80's.
Single player is single player and just because a development team (and some of you) want it to mean something else doesn't make it correct.
Thank you all of you who answered with sensible, adult posts.
The rude, sarcastic and childish I will ignore.
In case anyone else is wondering, you CAN get your money back from Steam.
EDIT. Refund being processed. Thank you Steam.
So that how do you categorize Dragon Age? A multiplayer game? What about the final fantasy series?
Definition of a single-player game:
https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/us/single-player
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Single-player_video_game
And so Mordheim has both single-player mode where you play against the AI and multi-player mode where you play against other players. In both instances you control a group of mercenaries and need to field 4-10 units for each mission, so essentially you control a party (your warband), not a single character.
If you don't think it's the game you wanted to play, it's fine to refund (better to refund than invite needless frustration later), but the definition is as above and it accurately describes the game.
