I feel like this is a stupid/redundant question. Cross-platform gaming has never been a thing, especially not between a PC and a PS4. Maybe between a PC and an XBox, if they're both running windows 10... But otherwise no.

Huh what. Final Fantasy XIV has cross-platform, PS3, PS4 and PC share servers. I play with a friend who is playing over a PS3 perfectly. And remember portal 2? Another example of cross-platform. The thing with cross-platform is that it's really hard to do, and some companies would just lose money implementing it.

Not many crossplatform games out there but the main 2 I know of are Portal 2 on the ps3 & pc and War Thunder on the ps4 & pc. It's a shame that more multiplayer/co-op games are not crossplatform, quite a few games that have had online servers shutdown would possibly still be going today if they where x-plat.
