Can you hear/see Invisible Woman when close?
Hey I just want to ask a question about Invisible Woman's invisibility because I can't seem to get a definitive answer while playing in quickplay/competitive and I have no friend to test it out (unless I'm missing something.

As the title said, what happened if you get too close to an enemy as Invisible Woman when she's invisible? Is it like Spy from TF2 where you'll become visible or you'll feel collision between the two characters?

Also I noticed some players seem have an idea where I'm located while invisible and tried to shoot around my area and seem to always guessed correctly 80% of the time. Can you hear her footstep or noises when she's nearby? Either that or that particular players have high perceptions or there are telltales I'm not aware of.

Far as I know, no. I've had enemies run right by me and it never seemed like they saw me. Generally if you're getting hit while invis it's likely they're guessing or you moved into an area where they thought you might be. i.e You vanish backwards so they assume you're roughly to the left/right of where they last saw you. I've gotten clipped on occasion after vanishing. It's mindgames, basically.

Collision..maybe? I've never had anyone run smack dab into me that managed to stop and hit me after. But I'd chalk that up to tunnelvision.

I have accidentally killed an invisible woman before... Just like Sombra... But when I played her, I bumped into the enemy and they didn't even realize...

You can still hit people, but no. There should be no way for someone to see or hear an invisible character. They can be easy for some characters to kind of sus out though, like with Mister Fantastic's sweeping attacks. When a Psylock or Loki disappears on me, I just guess where they might be headed.

Hint: The answer is toward the nearest health pack 99% of the time.

Funny you mention that, As an Invisible woman player, I tend to avoid health packs because it's the most obvious place to find someone hiding, it also doesn't help the fact that she heals while invisible which encourages me to do more risky movements though to be honest, it's really depend on the situations.

You cannot see her, but you can hear her footsteps for sure. There were many times I heard her lurking around my team.

I can smell her
What does she smell like? Ozone? 😄

Sue is relatively quiet when invisible. She's not 100% silent, but unlike Loki whose footsteps you can hear a mile away when invisible, Sue is much harder to detect.

The trade off is Loki's invisilbity is much stronger, gives him speed boost, you can use all your abilities except attacking, whereas with Sue you can get knocked otu of invisibility by getting hit, no speedboost, and any ability cancels it.

i shoot the floor in the general area and let splash damage do the rest.

Yes. She makes the same footsteps sound as any enemy hero being close.
I don't know for sure about sue, but I know for a fact that Loki makes footstep sounds when invisible so i'd assume that she does too
Thats a good question..you would think..spider sence would warn you
-i also thinks dev mist a chance.. hit bell..disable black spiderman for a bit (would be cool)
will try a few things..
you can hear her, but not see her, damage will un-invis her though so spraying randomly is a fine tactic, not like there is limited ammo.
