If this is a projectile hero, then the ACTUAL crosshair is shifted towards the right. This is a third person perspective issue.
Hitboxes literally change in size depending on your frame rate, lol.
If your playing e.g punisher or starlord it might also very well be a skill issue as well as you need to be pinpoint accurate.. and i am saying this as i have no issues hitting with hitscan, if i am not hitting i am quite literally wiffing shots for one reason or another because of the need to be pinpoint. (which can be easily shown if you record your games and look back at them... don't go off of the replays as they are serverside and not accurate)
What i have found though is some weirdness with projectile heroes like mantis where similarly aimed shots will MISS if i am holding down to shoot, but will more often than not hit while tapping shots out instead.
Nothing is 100% in online gaming.. even single player offline games sometimes miscalculate.
Basically: NOTHING is perfect. The only thing that is perfect is NOTHING.
Technology is only as good as the one's who design/engineer it, and the ones who do are clearly not perfect. It'll always be in some way lesser than their creations.
Virtually ALL of Nature & Humankind's creations will have some sort of flaws/imperfections. Sucks
Ive had the opposite experience. Projectile chars like Mantis tend to be more accurate for me, and Ive been getting hit from behind walls when the enemy didnt even shoot (not even on replay.) It's very annoying, but i guess it's latency? My ping is less than 70ms so idk. I dont have this problem on any other shooter so it must be a server issue.
Psylocke alternates between shooting with her left and and right hand, which actually throws off her aim very slightly since it actually changes the direction the shots come from. They don't do the thing like in overwatch where the shots just come from below where the camera is centered.
The most noticable one is definitely Venom. If you try to hit someone who is directly in your face the tentacles acting the way they are makes it harder to hit all 4 hits.
Its a case of them trying to be TOO accurate with how characters feel to play.
