Plat Players are boosted

I've had the unfortunate situation of being a solo queue player who's hardstuck in Platinum after nearly getting to diamond and peaking at 90 points in Plat I because my teammates ever since that peak have been WILDLY incompetent.

Most of them don't understand basic concepts such as counter-picking, ability synergy, or even positioning. Most of them have egos the size of the sun and blame the team for their mistakes, and the rest just insta-lock DPS and go negative for most of the match and refuse to switch off their choice even when they're being hard countered by other characters.

To put it simply, the ranking system needs to be looked at. There's too many players in Platinum that play less like competent players and more like people who got boosted out of Bronze rank.

I pull 30k healing almost every match, no amount of healing can fix my teammates god awful positioning or incessant desire to overextend and try to solo.

Not gonna hold you, it tends to be the people who have to blame the entire team and not take any responsibility themselves that tend to be the loose end. I highly doubt your this perfect healer dishing out 30k but yet you cant do anything. Ive yet to see a single healer in ranked whos lost the game got more than 15-20k healing, somethings not addin up. Since your hard-stuck plat, that seems to further prove it. Your best bet is to squad up and get actual teammates since by this point most people play with comms, not just hopes and dreams.

When i flex healer i rarely get over 10k heal. I play Racoon and get value in different ways other than healing. I try to keep an eye out for anyone far out of possitions and save people dueling with flankers. Also Racoon deal a lot of damage, so he is good against Venom and Groot, who have a big hitbox that is easy to land hits on.

Never had a complaint. But i admit that i rely on other healer doing heavy lifting, but in turn i help with flankers.

The fact that people are arguing with you like the matchmaking isnt totally broken garbage is crazy.

I had better odds in Overwatch years ago, this games ranked is just constantly either
A. Blowout
B. Get blown out

Ive had maybe 1 or 2 matches that genuinely felt evenly matched and really fun. I mean jesus Im Gold even though i barely play the game just because i get lucky enough to have competent teammates.

And dont even get me started on the people who refuse to communicate when they have a mf text chat.

He is kinda correct, if you are like me and play healers/tanks in sea of dps, then it is your issue... Your issue to heal everyone while no one helps you while you are being targeted once enemy team figures out who is priority target. Your issue to take down ankhs and spider nests as a healer or melee tank. Your issue to kill iron man as a healer, who your dps players ignore. Your issue to be blamed at the end for not enough heals meanwhile you are perma dead because 3 people dive you none stop and no one doing diddly ♥♥♥♥ about it. Lots off issues, all yours unfortunately.

It's extremely easy to hit GM in this game for a bunch of reasons lol. Tons of people in that rating are terrible at this game. The fact that you can queue a six stack into six solo queue players over and over again is a joke.

Online Gaming in general is cooked for solo players.

I'm Gold 2 now and it took forever to get there because literally every game switched between stomping and getting stomped.

Regardless if I played healer or support, heck I even tanked when it was necessary but the result was always the same.

It's SBMM and you can't escape it as a solo player. Even had a bot in one of my teams before, dude just kept running into a wall the entire game and nobody in my team cared.

I just play for fun now, rank doesn't mean ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

The way this game works is you get more for wins than you lose for losing as long as your preforming so if your deranking you on a loss streak if your "hardstuck" your probably where you should be maybe even a little too high with a less than 50% Winrate

And before you come at me with the i have 30k heals or I have x kills I'm doing my job no your probably not 10k heals right when they are needed matter infinitly more than 30k heals doing nothing in a choke point just like 30k damage doesn't matter if you get no kills from it and kills don't matter if they have no purpose you could go hard kill one dps and die all game and end with 50 elims but you havnt actually done anything.

If your playing a dive character and their healers aren't spending more time dealing with you then healing your not doing your job just as an example. I dont care if you never get a single kill as long as they arent healing the tank your job is done and done correctly.

Long post short if your a damage just kill the healers and you'll climb for real this game isn't hard stop hitting the tank for 10 mins a match and just look past them.
