Downloading content and crashing

Every time since the season 1.5 update the launcher has been giving me messages about corrupted file packages and then starts downloading content? This happens every time I try to launch the game. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt. And when it does sometimes work it crashes on the startup screen. Really dissapointed.

clearing your steam download cache and verify the integrity of game files in properties on the steam page. thats what worked for me
