Alright folks, we all know the jeff ult needs a nerf. These quad kills from just jumping off map clearly aint intended. So like intelligent folk, lets discuss possible changes for the ult

What about if the dev add a mechanic where opponents inside Jeff get a chance to get out? like a simple QTE or button mashing.
or
I agree with Jeff should be moving slower while having many people inside him and lose his health regen ability while ulting.
Jeff can already avoid the other Jeff Ult just by diving. If another Jeff gets swallowed, that's a blunder.

holy cow...the amount of points being given out in this discussion is INSANE. I think it might be about 10000 now!
maybe I should say post 10 extra spicy comments to cash in on this lol

but anyway, I think the discussion is useless at this point. a couple people here are being INCREDIBLY bull headed about this when the truth is so obvious (jeff needs rebalencing) ((YOUR JEFF WILL STILL HEAL, YOUR JEFF WILL STILL DO DAMAGE, YOUR JEFF WILL STILL swallow people and be big funne, BUT it won't be absurdly OP and frustrating.))
So save your energy guys, these people will find out in time, and hopefully the devs see and understand our arguments and make the necessary changes. I am going to bed, goodnight all, and I hope you understand we don't dislike you, we just dislike your stupid dumbass arguments. so cheers and goodnight.
No.

Cloak's RMB is a direct counter. Very easy to time. Jeff is trash tier in high level play.
"High level play"? This game is 3 days old.

They need to give him a real hurtbox when he dives or put a cooldown on it. Being able to actually counterplay the placed bubbles by shooting them would be a nice change as well. This character is broken beyond the ult at the moment and more than the ult needs nerfed lol.

His ulti isn't the only issue, his kit overall is super busted.
Moon Knights ankhs glow red and are destructible even though they dont show a healthbar until damaged. Jeff's bubbles glow red, but for some reason indistructible. He has 6 of them and each one persist up to 3 minutes after placement, heals for 85, gives 15% heal boost AND 60% m/s boost for 4 seconds!
His left click alone heals as much as most other healers per rotation, with bubble included he outheals everyone.
And his ulti shutdowns majority of other healers ults, outside of Loki and Adam. Luna, Mantis, Rocket or C&D ults? Free teamwipe or atleast completely cancels the ults effect.
His traversal is busted too. Gives CC immunity, heals 35hp/s, massivly reduces his already small hitbox and removes head, can move on walls.
A passive that gives 50% crit damage resistance.
Overall, totally not overtuned hero for noobs:GoldenPoop:.

The radius of his ult and time on his ult needs a nerf.

I don't disagree that Jeff's ult needs a minor nerf in some way or multiple ways, but at the same time I think people like to blow things out of proportions and jump on the "OP PLS NERF" train instantly. They don't even attempt to think that there could be something THEY do that could make it much harder for Jeff. I mean he's just like any other character. If the enemy team picks a flying team or their flyer is their biggest threat, do you just cry OP PLS NERF FLYERS as well or should you perhaps learn that some characters do much worse or much better versus other characters?

Have you ever played versus a team that... actually listens to the Jeff ult and scatters? Have you ever played versus a c&d that actually knows how to use their cloak's RMB? Have you ever played versus people who actually make use of the terrain, find angles and scatter naturally because of it? To connect to the last point, have you ever tried settling for what's realistically just a tank and/or 2 people in total and have those other people that make use of high ground and terrain just simply... kill you as Jeff? Have you ever been a Jeff trying to play versus an Iron Man that ults your ult every single time and it's a guaranteed deny and net positive for the Iron Man team?

Like dude, there's SO much you can do, even more stuff that I didn't even talk about, but at the end of the day you're supposed to adjust or take advantage of certain maps where certain characters shine.

Yes, Jeff could use a little ult nerf, but I'm convinced most people that do cry for nerfs literally refuse to improve how to play. It's like saying Rock is OP because it beats scissors. How about you try to be a bit more like Paper versus Rock? So incredibly annoying the people that just cry nerfs when they are probably exactly those people that just blindly stay clump up, stay on point and have no sense whatsoever for the map and how to use aspects of it.

You can do way more versus Jeff than you think. Just use your damn head for a change and don't let your ego stand in your way to improvement. Making Jeff ult work versus people that even remotely know what's up is incredibly hard and let's not forget that you have to sacrifice your positioning entirely to ult.

Sincerely, a Jeff/Support main.

unbelievable cope from jeff mains. jeff's ult is an unavoidable death sentence for anywhere between 2 and 6 enemies. even if your team "scatters" there will never be a situation where he can't catch at least 2 people. all other high damage AoEs are avoidable, even if you're unprepared.

but i'll go further. i'd argue that jeff's entire kit is flawed, and he should be scrapped. his right click is the most unimaginative, easy to use heal in the game, that has no personality or skill requirement.
his mobility is basically baby mode for supports who can't position. why does one ability need to shrink his hitbox and make him immune to headshots, and then give him regen, speed and wall climbing on top of that?
his bubbles are fine.

No other support character dictates enemy team's playstyle like this by just potentially having ultimate. The global sound effect of his ult is meaningless if he flanks(which isn't hard at all with his swim, lol) and ults on top of you.
Sacrificing positioning for greatly crippling enemy team is barely a sacrifice and nullifyed almost completely by having 2 healers.
Iron Man and his ulti counter majority of healers. Jeff's ulti having no effect on flyers is also an issue.
C&D have no mobility at all, having a button with a 12 sec cd and 2 sec duration to at least save themself in exchange seems fair.
It's not like no one is asking to nerf other heroes, Jeff is simply the biggest offender. Hawkeye needs a big nerf, Hela and MK need one too. Iron Fist should NOT be able to chase Iron Man up to the skybox.

No one ever said there wasn't.

Just because counter play exists doesn't mean that the abilitiy isn't still absolutely effing broken.

What matters is, is the value it gives, and the risk/effort required to get that value, comparable to other characters in his role?

The answer to that is a resounding "no". So the ability is obscenely broken and needs nerfing like yesterday.
You literally tried to discredit that there is counter play to Jeff. C'mon now.
I like how you downplay the response when you dont actually have a counter argument
