Why are you trying to play a game when you have no idea what's even in it?
There are literally no gameplay videos on the storefront, lol.
So I use steam to launch the game, it opens the launcher and when I try to open the game from the launcher it crashes and gives me a Unreal error. It also invalidates my steam files for the game. So I was able to fix it but I'm not sure how many people this fix is applicable to. Firstly Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Marvel Rivals\Log, and...
******* READ THE LOG!!!!*******
. Surprisingly there is good info in there that helped me fix my problem. But for me, after reading line after line in the log I found an error. Apparently I had made a windows environment Variable at some point, meant to capture sslkeylogs, but it had prevented the launcher from working. I suppose my tip is to read the logs and potentially check out the windows variables and see if you made one and forgot about it. They're located at settings > System > about > advanced system settings > advanced > environment variables, and under user variables is where I found my variable which was ruining things... But seriously read over the log, it could help a lot.
