this game has built in mouse acceleration so youll never have "good" aim anyway.
just aim to the right. this game has a bug (that will never be fixed) that lets you shoot 5 feet to the right of anyone and get hits. literally DO NOT shoot at their body, shoot to the right of them.

in the link i posted he shows another 3rd person game (deadlock) and how this does not happen there. this is a bug only in this game.
You can technically start off really good in this game if you're just familure with shooters in general.
I've been a fan of them since Wolfenstein 3d and Doom on PC. Quake for more competitive multiplayer. It's not too difficult to adjust to Marvel Rivals honestly from those type games.
Mouse. Just keep in mind that they still haven't fixed the mouse issue so you can't rely on your mouse going where you aim.

Going from first person to third person also needs some adjustments as you can't reliably peak round corners and stairs. So in the map where the point keeps moving up and down, you can't reliably shoot over the barrier. It especially goes for rocket where he gets blocked by low obstacles, or even stairs so you think you're healing your teammates when you don't actually have line of sight.
Its not a bug. Just "lazy" development. Look at helldivers 2, ArmA's solution for it
