why am i not able to use voice chat?

i was able to use voice chat the first week of playing the game, then randomly one day i hopped on and voice chat just stopped working. i cant hear anyone, no one can hear me when i speak in game. ive changed my key-binds reset settings reinstalled the game tried a different headset checked settings on steam and my volume settings. nothing has fixed nor changed. im completely lost what to-do and playing comp isn't the best when you cant even communicate with your own team, let alone hear them speak. was a fun game but the fact that voice chat just randomly got disabled for me when i rarely spoke a word not sure if i was muted or what but i haven't found a fix nor a solution to this problem.

this post needs more attention, It's quite a common issue and a reddit thread was just made on it yesterday about PC players not being able to use game chat

My mic was working perfectly until I updated my drivers and Marvel Rivals is the only game affected by it

My VC key bind isn't working either, but I can hear other players speaking.

This game has issues with other programs running that make use of the mic for whatever reason. I have to run Discord as admin every time I start this game otherwise my mic doesn't work in game.

in a game like this, voice chat is very important, especially if you play solo ranked... maybe even tank.

i am very sure they are aware, even though they have yet to comment on the issue. but im sure apart from performance optimization its pretty high on their to do list.

having the same issue, tried every possible solution I found on reddit but nothing seems to fix it, I also can’t use push to talk on discord while on Rivals unless I open discord as administrator for some reason

Has anyone tried it without PTT, just voice activation? That's not an option for me because I cant be trusted on a hot mic and I'm talking in discord anyway, but does it not work with ptt, too?

Can hear other people, but 99% of the time my push-to-talk button does nothing. If I spam my push-to-talk button I can sometimes get the indicator to light up momentarily, not sure if anyone else can hear anything. But it only lasts for like a second.

Very frustrating.
