Yeah that's the worse, he has too much HP to just out duel him and since he's no one else's problem they don't turn around.
Still somewhat learning myself, as I bounced off Overwatch. As I understand it though, "diving" refers to using the side routes and passages to flank the enemy and come around to their backline to try and attack their long-ranged attackers (Black Widow, Hawkeye) or healers--or at least cause a disruption that will distract them from healing the frontline tanks, even if they don't secure a kill, then use either mobility or survival cooldowns to escape without dying. Certain characters are more designed for it than others--not just Duelists like Black Panther and Spider-Man, but even some tanks like Venom, Hulk and Captain America are well suited to diving, though they CAN frontline tank too with their massive HP pools and defensive abilities.
Even combined Vanguard and Strategist still have less characters than Duelists.
