OP - I share your pain and frustration. If you'd like to group up together, perhaps one of us dedicated to sticking with the other might help. Send me a friend request.
Overall the award for worst ultimate in game goes to Thor. Its interrupted or handicapped by terrain like bridges, trees and ceilings. Thor is flying very slowly, AoE is very small compared to other ultimates, character is waiting too long to land, any CC can kick you out of ultimate (Mantis Sleep, Peni Parker Web, More), Thor is not getting any shield that would protect him from being KO while flying and even when you will succesfully perform - damage is nothing to write home about.
I believe this is just part of the growing pains for Rivals, and over time, completionists will likely have an easier time, especially if tweaks like the ones I suggested get implemented.

As a side note, it’s worth mentioning that a KO doesn’t always mean a straight-up kill, as Jesi pointed out. (Often times you will find these tips on guides or even forums like TrueAchievements)
I don’t think tying the ability to get achievements to being in a specific ELO bracket is really the right perspective here. That said, I’m unranked in this game, so technically Bronze III according to its system.
I’ve had countless games as Thor where I’ve tried and tried. I’ll admit, it’s frustrating in some ways, but at the same time, it’s fun—that’s the trade-off we accept as achievement hunters. I don’t feel like the system is cheating us out of it either. Every attempt gets close, and yeah, the enemies scatter and avoid grouping up. But honestly, if I saw a Thor and knew he had his ult ready, I’d probably do the same and make sure not to group.
Whilst yes, it is rarer, if everything was easy that would make it unfun (my opinion) and right now as we stand I'm not going to go off % numbers too much as it just came out, people are still figuring out their mains but also only 25.8% of people have the emote wheel achievement sooooo
Listen, I'm sure you will get it! I can near guarantee it but if it is actually frustrating you I would recommend you take a break! (also was looking at your completions you have some really nice completions!)
