Is there a way to turn off communication in this game?

You can turn off Teamchat atleast. Not match chat tho. Its in the Social tab somewhere.

You can at the start of every single match go into setting with ESC and there you can disable voice und chat for every player. First thing i do every game for the enemy team because they never have something to say i wanne read.

unbind chat: (enter) and press control-shift-C at hero select each match

Just turn the voice chat volume off.

Report them, their support works fast.

Devs thought letting you turn off everything except all chat made sense lol.

honestly just ignore the match chat and turn off vc. problem solved

I turn it all off. It's in settings, both Voice chat & chatbox.

I started hiding the whole chat. I still hope they fix this. The only people that are saying to "grow a thicker skin" or to ignore, just seem to not have empathy for the others that rather just have fun and not see negative comments from the enemy team.

if you play ranked and ignore all chat and doing bad there is a chance that you can be mass reported for throwing just keep that in mind i don't know what can happen and i don't know if the system will punish or ban you in that case.

Ya voice and team chat you can turn off just not match chat.
