Diablo Immortal was HORRIBLE, Onmyoji was HORRIBLE....and Naraka was okay?
The rest of their games are overwhelmingly negative and even Naraka, one of the only well recieved games, got there after going free to play after being a paid game, and only after tons and tons of updates and patches, and is INCREDIBLY F2P unfriendly. The only real way to unlock characters in Naraka was to shell out money, and at the core of it, you're paying a hefty price for getting two unique moves.
Imagine telling someone they need to farm for 2 months to unlock Iron man, or they can pay $15 for him.
The game is going to die because Netease is NOT "Good hands" to be in.
As much as people love to crap on overwatch, every other game company that has tried has done it worse. Bandai, the DARK SOULS COMPANY, the ANIME COMPANY, one of the big AAA companies with
Hi-rez's Paladins just never got the polish and it's been dying for years.
What hope would net-ease, a failing company with such a bad reputation that people will avoid it on name alone, have?
Even at it's best, on an even playing field, Naraka is just a really simplistic battle Royale. And I'm saying that as someone who played and enjoyed Naraka for what it is. Hell, the PVE mode is LEAGUES more popular than the PVP simply because it's so stagnant as a meta and the lack of meaningful updates like new weapons instead of just shoveling skins at the player.
Like, ONE game out of what, 10? ONE game did "ok".
The rest FAILED HORRIBLY. They all either were rife with hackers, P2W mechanics, or were just bad mobile game ports with Gacha-boxes.
Remember when people found out that their Super Mecha Combat game was so poorly thrown together that it had actual security issues, to the point that RAT-type stuff was possible through their garbage-ass Android emulator they used to run it?
"Good hands"...man, this guy either doesn't know, or he's being intentionally obtuse.
Netease was the PUBLISHER for Naraka, not the developer.
Any game netease has DEVELOPED THEMSELVES were garbage. The stuff they simply published was often fine on the gameplay end, but was stuffed with MTX.
So netease is NOT good hands, because they've never made anything good with their hands to begin with.
For real tho, this game is already DOA, the micro-trash-actions are going to be dumpster fire levels.
